Many schools have forbidden the use of mobile phones, while some other institutions allow them. However,  the schools that allow the use of mobile phones have very strict restrictions. Cell phones must be turned off and away from the student's body.

So, Should cell phones be allowed in schools? Why/why not.

I guess that cell phones should be allowed in schools because they allow parents to keep a watch on their children. One quick call or text message and you get to know the immediate whereabouts of your kid. in addition, the child can always call home for a forgotten lunch, homework project, or change of after school plans.

I THINK A CELL PHONE IS AN OBSTACLE FOR A SUCCESFUL LEARNING AND TEACHING PROCESS. I NORMALLY HAVE MY STUDENTS KEEP AWAY THEIR DEVICES. I SHOULD SAY THAT THIS TYPE OF INTERRUPTION IS BOTHERING. I HATE MY STUDENTS CHECKING THEIR CELLS WHILE I AM EXPLAINIG.
