Donating organs: for or against?

Rate this item
(1 Vote)

The number of organ donations has increased sharply in recent years in many regions all over the world. However, it still lags a long way behind the number of people who are on waiting lists for a transplant. This is so because people are still reluctant to register as organ donors.

Organ donation is, for many people, a highly admirable and responsible thing to do, and may be one of the most heroic things a person can do in his life. Yet, others see organ donation as a serious decision that may have negative effects on the donor.

What do you think about organ donation? Would you donate your organs to save someone's life?

Human beings are selfish by nature. Would anybody accept to give part of his body to somebody else? All parts of the body are unique and they are necessary. I know people who have kideny problems but none of their family members has voulunteered to donate his kidney. I said it before. We are selfish by nature. Today, people are reluctant just lending things to others. How would you expect from somebody who cannot lend to donate an organ? I'm not excepetional, I can lend my things to other but donating an organ, NO.
