A vegan is a person who does not eat meat, dairy, or any other animal products at all, including eggs. What reasons in your opinion might a person have for becoming a vegan? Do you think veganism is a good lifestyle choice? Why or why not? Imagine a vegan friend is coming to dinner. What would you serve him or her?

Well as long as you feel good, you can eat whatever you want. If you eat meat and you feel no negative impact on you your body, why not eat meat then? similarly, if you are satisfied with eating just vegetables, why not eat them?

I think that a difference should, first of all, be made between a vegan a vegetarian. Neither a vegan nor a vegetarian eats meat. However, while a vegetarian tends to consume dairy products and eggs, a vegan avoids all animal products, including eggs and dairy, and even other animal-based products such as leather and wool. Vegetarianism is usually a diet whereas veganism is a lifestyle. Vegetarians often choose their diet based on the health benefits it is associated with, or probably for religious or political reasons. Vegans have much stronger political beliefs regarding their diet. Some even believe that animals should be protected under many of the same laws that people are.
